The aim of this unit is to provide the learner with the ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the main concepts of health and safety management systems and of the benefits of a positive health and safety culture in the workplace to aid staff welfare. This unit is designed to give learners a detailed and broad understanding of health and safety in the workplace and the legislation that governs it.
